the role of intuition in mathematics education. The role of intuition is very important
thing to teaching and learning process of mathematics. And there are two roles
of intuition, ontological role and epistemological role. Ontological role of intuition in mathematics related to the position of objects,
concepts, and mathematical structures. While the epistemological role of intuition
includes other sources of knowledge of
mathematics, methods, and decision-making of mathematics.
Although
there are some different opinion about the role of intuition, we still reminded that intuition has an important role in the mathematics.
So, none philosophy of mathematics can ignore intuition. And this article can
conclude that the role of intuition in mathematics more philosophical than mathematical."
